I frequently find old coins while browsing garage sales. What’s the best way to check them on the spot or right after?
Garage sale coins can be hidden treasures. I usually take quick photos with my phone and later run them through a free coin identifier app at home. It gives me immediate feedback on whether something might be valuable. Last weekend it helped me realize I bought a scarce Canadian coin for almost nothing.
